The Time Guardian
2025, Interactive object “The Time Guardian” for Prague City Tourism, Old Town Hall, Prague, Concept by Olgoj Chorchoj
We were invited to participate in the production of The Time Guardian —
an unique interactive exhibition object created through collaboration with Prague City Tourism.
The project is based on a concept by Olgoj Chorchoj Studio and was developed in cooperation with Metamechanics Studio and PONK.space.
Our role involved designing and manufacturing the physical object in accordance with the original artistic vision.
The structure is formed by a welded steel construction and finished with precisely applied powder coating, ensuring long-term durability and a refined appearance.
Inside the object, integrated shelving houses the electronic components, while lockable access doors allow safe and practical maintenance by operators.
The central visual feature is a glass projection surface, which displays educational content focused on the Prague Astronomical Clock, combining historical storytelling with contemporary technology.
The Time Guardian is located in the very heart of Prague, within the Knights’ Hall of the Old Town Hall, where it forms part of the official guided tour routes. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this exceptional project that connects craftsmanship, design, and cultural heritage in an innovative way.
